My name is Marianne, I am 38 years old, and I am a local who has never been able to bring myself to leave my beloved Gironde. A qualified tour guide since 2009, I am above all an epicurean and a lover of exchange.
After growing up among the vineyards of Pessac Léognan and the landscapes of Charente, I fell in love with the historic centre of Bordeaux 16 years ago.
Today, I am “part of the furniture”: between historical anecdotes, it is not uncommon for people to greet me as I walk down an alleyway!
It is this closeness and friendliness that I bring to your visits, whether we speak French, English or even Spanish.
From a passion for wine to the best-kept secrets
My story is closely linked to the terroir. I have been fortunate enough to work at prestigious estates such as Château Pape Clément and Château La Croizille, which has given me an understanding of the soul of wine, from small organic producers to grands crus classés.
Today, my passion is to open these doors to you with simplicity. Whether you are with family, friends or on a business trip, I love to concoct itineraries that suit you: from heritage must-sees to unusual and offbeat addresses that only locals know about.
